Stuart ReesDirector of the Sydney Peace Foundation – Emeritus Professor Stuart Rees AM

Stuart Rees is the Director of the Sydney Peace Foundation. He has worked in community development and as an academic in many countries and was previously Professor of Social Work at the University of Sydney. He has practised conflict resolution within organisations and has been involved in peace negotiations in Cambodia, Israel/Palestine and in relation to the Indonesian West-Papuan relations. Stuart is the author of over ten books, including Passion for Peace: Exercising Power Creatively (2003) and Tell me the truth about war (2004).

Alan CameronChair – Alan Cameron AM

Alan Cameron was chairman of ASIC from 1993 to 2000, Commonwealth Ombudsman 1991-92, and managing partner of the law firm Blake Dawson Waldron (BDW) for 5 years during the 1980s. He is now a director of SFE Corporation Limited, chairman of Cameron Ralph Pty Limited, a board performance assessment business, an adviser to BDW, a Fellow of the Senate of the University of Sydney, and a member of the NSW Judicial Commission.

 

 


 
 

Associate Professor Tim Fitzpatrick is the Head of School of Languages and Cultures in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Sydney.

Dr Ken Macnab is President of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies and former member of the Department of History at the University of Sydney.

Abraham Quadan is a dispute resolution practitioner and a member of the Council of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Sydney.

Kuranda Seyit is Executive Director of the Forum on Australia's Islamic Relations (FAIR).

Maree Whybourne specialises in fundraising for the not-for-profit sector.
